Fourth of July at The Cabin

For the Fourth of July we spent the weekend at Maggi's family cabin. We had a lot of fun.

Here we are getting ready for the firworks to start at Brianhead

Time for brownies (isn't it always).

The grandkids caught something and Tilli wanted at it.

After I posted my comment, my wife Sierra reminded me that I hadn't even read your comment before I came and said, "Oh, hello."

To answer your implied questions and allegations:

I am 25, still male, married to the wonderful Sierra Dawn Westfall Cory (who I met here in Vegas at my singles' ward--actually playing soccer, but she was in the ward so it should count), and going to UNLV. I study English, by choice. I am an English major, by design. I shall graduate (as long as all goes according to plan) in the Spring and then it is off to Law School for me. Tis the season.

Regarding the "lack of invitation" allegations that you so nonchalantly tossed our way, let it be known that I am terribly sorry. My car was broken into about a month before the wedding, and a whole box of addressed, stamped, licked, and sealed invitations were stolen (along with many other things that were valuable to no one else but me and the Russians). We weren't sure which ones had been stolen or not, and tried to catch everyone with an e-mail version (it was high-class). Thus, there were actually quite a few people that we wanted to invite but ended up missing.

I heard tell on the street (talking to Britt) that you guys are living in the Vegas. Is this true? We should all get together for creepy, married couple activities like "game-night" or "craft-night" or "finger-painting."

And, I end with one more apology: I'm really sorry that you didn't get invited, Maggi. I most certainly wanted you guys to come, but failed in this thing. I humbly beg your forgiveness.
