I am now the proud wife of an officer and a gentleman. Last weekend David received his commision in the army. He is a Lieutenant. After he finishes dental school he will become a Captain. David's parents came down for the ceremony and his dad actually swore David in as he is retired Major in the army. My parents were also there supporting their boy and not suprisingly my mom cried while David was reciting his oath. We are all very pleased with David's decision and it was especially fun to see how proud both of our sets of parents are of him. They were all smiles and praise. We are excited to be a part of the army and are very greatful for the approximately $300,000 scholorship they are giving us. David expects everyone to address him as Lieutenant from now on...j/k.

Congrats! That is such a blessing that they will be able to help pay for Dental School.
great job David! I mean lieutenant!
Girl we totally need to talk! My David is a 2nd lieutenant too! He joined his 2nd year in school. Weird weird similar lives we are leading. Anyway the living stipend is the BEST! It'll be fun to talk once they're both out of school and working on a base. And hopefully by the time your David graduates we can be a help since we've been there done that.
Congratualtions Lieutenant David Ross!! You rock! We are SO excited for you both. It's so wonderful that they help put you thru dental school, what a blessing for you both!
Congrats! The stipend and the scholarship are appealing, aren't they?

Congratulations Lieutenant Ross. Sir. Yes Sir.
Congrats to you both! It's so exciting that not only is David going to dental school, but that you won't have to bear the financial burden of student loans!
And Maggi, could you possibly be any cuter???
